My Qualifications and Experience

I gained a MA and Advanced Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling following completion of a 5 year training at The Minster Centre, London. I also have a MSc in Organisational Behaviour from Birkbeck College, London. Earlier on in my education, I studied French and Italian and lived abroad for a period of time.

I am a registrant of the  United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and so am bound by their Code of Ethics.  I am also a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their guidelines regarding ethical practice and professional standards.

In addition to my Psychotherapy training, I have benefitted from over 10 years of my own personal development and therapy and continue to work on my own personal development and psychotherapeutic practice by regular attendance at supervision, seminars and workshops.

I have 5 years experience of working with clients via the Minster Centre client referral service, Brent Mind and as a Honorary Staff Counsellor within a NHS setting. I also have many years experience as a group facilitator delivering change management, career development and team development workshops in a variety of organisational settings as well as one to one career transition and performance coaching for employees up to Senior Leadership level.

I continue to work as a coach and group facilitator within different organisations. Prior to this, I worked in the Retail and Professional Services sectors as a Human Resources Manager and Consultant.

The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change. (Carl Rogers)
